Hololive AI Art: Marine, Kiara, IRyS and More (2026)
Vtuber fan art is one of the largest fan-art scenes on the internet, and Hololive sits at the center of it. Houshou Marine, Takanashi Kiara, IRyS, Mori Calliope - these characters have been drawn by fans so many times that their designs are effectively burned into the datasets modern anime models learned from. The practical upshot: Hololive AI art works unusually well, because the models already know these characters by name.
This post is a franchise hub for generating Hololive fan art in 2026: why these characters render so well, which talents you can generate on goongen.ai, what Cover's fan content guidelines actually say, and what your other options are. Why Hololive Characters Render So Well
Anime models in the Illustrious / SDXL family are trained on tag-based illustration datasets, where every image of a character carries her name as a tag. Hololive talents are among the most heavily tagged characters in those datasets - Marine in particular has ranked among the most fan-arted characters anywhere for years. When a model has seen thousands of consistent images of the same red pirate coat, it does not need you to describe it.
So the character tag alone gets you most of the way, and a dedicated character LoRA on top - which is what the character pages below use - locks the design in, so details like Kiara's phoenix feathers or IRyS's crystal horns stop drifting between generations.
General-purpose photo models are a different story. They are trained mostly on photographs, do not respond to danbooru-style character tags, and their content policies block a lot of fan-art territory anyway. Cover Corporation, the company behind hololive production, publishes official Derivative Works Guidelines for fan creations. If you make Hololive fan art - AI-generated or hand-drawn - you should know they exist. The short version, as of this writing:
- Keep it at a fan or hobby level. Derivative works must not be used for business or for-profit purposes.
- Do not present your work as official, or in any way that could be mistaken for official.
- Nothing that goes against public order and morality or exceeds what is socially acceptable.
- Be mindful of the talents and avoid works they would find unpleasant.
- Extracting talents' voices from songs for AI speech generation is explicitly not allowed.
Check the current guidelines yourself before publishing anything - they get updated, including on AI-related points - but the general rules apply to AI output the same as to a drawing. The translation for this post: generate for yourself, do not sell it, do not pass it off as official, and keep the talents' dignity in mind. That is the frame everything below sits in.
The Talents That Render Best

Local ComfyUI is the purist option. Community-trained Hololive character LoRAs are easy to find on model hubs, they are free, and nothing leaves your machine. The cost is setup: a capable GPU, a Python environment, and ongoing tinkering. If that sounds fun rather than painful, it is the right answer.
PixAI and SeaArt are the mainstream anime platforms, and both host community vtuber LoRAs that produce good results. Prompting Tips for Vtuber Fan Art
A few things that consistently help with Hololive characters:
- Let the character carry the design. You do not need to describe Marine's outfit - the tag and LoRA already know it. Spend your prompt on scene, pose, lighting and mood instead.
- Alternate outfits work. Describe the clothing explicitly (casual, swimsuit, formal) and the character model keeps the face and hair consistent while swapping the outfit. Signature outfits are the default when you say nothing.

The Bottom Line
Hololive AI art works because the fandom made it work: years of fan drawings taught the models exactly what these characters look like. That comes with an obligation. Cover's guidelines are genuinely fan-friendly by corporate standards, and keeping AI fan art personal, unofficial and respectful of the talents is what keeps that arrangement intact.
